The Russell Historical Society is located at 106 S. Prairie and has many treasures yet to be discovered by many in the community.  The Community has worked very hard to build and supply the building with many numerous area artifacts, history scrapbooks including pictures and more.

Also available is reading material to be checked out for all ages-fiction, non-fiction, biograhies, reference material, some large print books, a large section of books by Louis L'AMour, Danielle Steel, Debbie Macomber Beverly Lewis, Wanda Brunstetter and many more authors.  Recently, we were pleased to receive many new books.There are DVD movies to check out, both adult and children along with two computers that are available for public use.

A copy machine is available, although at the present time only black and white copies are available.  Some Russell school wearing apparel and other items are for sale.

Current hours are: Monday 1-3 pm., Tuesday 2-4 pm., Wednesday 11-1 pm., and Thursday 1-3 pm.  Closed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
